Using freestanding displays in a shell scheme space
Booking an exhibition stand will normally present 2 options, and that’s a space only stand or a space that includes a shell scheme frame.
What is a shell scheme? A shell scheme is a frame work that will have a board in each panel to create cover on up to 3 walls. This means the structure will be in place when you get to your event. You have several options when it comes to adding custom print and making the shell scheme your own.
What print options are available?
As the shell scheme is already in place, it’s possible to make use of the back drop by adding rollable graphic panels. The printed graphic panels attach with hook and loop tape or a magnetic tape. Choose from 2 different print options:
Standard & Seamless Print
The standard print uses slightly smaller graphics and will show the frame between each panel. This can be disruptive if you’re using a graphic where the images flow from panel to panel. There is a solution to this, and that’s the seamless look panels. It’s not completely seamless as you’ll still have the individual panels but the wider size effectively hides the poles and ensures no panel breaks.
If attaching panels on to the frame isn’t the look you’d like you can position a freestanding display in front of the shell scheme. By doing so, you get the stand you want as well as having a portable display for the future. A freestanding display can be used in any space, with or without a shell scheme. Your chosen freestanding display can follow you from event to event, and in some cases can be adapted as your brand and exhibition stand change.
A popular choice of stand is the Pop up or Streamline exhibition stands, both designs fit into all shell scheme spaces without causing any issues for height restrictions. You’re still able to apply custom artwork, receive a professional stand and fit the floor space you have.
The flexible Streamline display has 5 heights available, so you’ll be able to get as close to the top of the shell scheme as possible. By opting for the tallest height and still being within any height restriction, the display stand will cover the shell scheme panels and leave more of your own branding on show.
