What is a Room Divider?
Room Dividers are a staple screening and partition solution, often being used in offices, hospitals, schools as well as a number of other environments due to their easy of use and quick installation. The use of castor wheels makes moving and packing away these screens stress-free, and the concertina design for opening and folding closed the product ideal for packing and storing.
At Go Displays we offer 2 ranges of Room Dividers; Mobi Screens and Flexi-Screens. Both screens are manufactured in-house by us, offering a different solution depending on budget, size, finish etc. so that there is something to suit each and every requirement. Each range offers different heights and widths, as well as final finishes and overall construction.
Our Mobi range, available in 4 different finishes, offer a lightweight, portable solution that's budget-friendly and easy to use. The Flexi-Screen offers a more heavy-duty solution with a robust inner core and lockable castor wheels. Both options concertina to fold shut and open with ease. Available with upholstered fabric, easy to clean laminate and custom printed branding as a final finish.
What are Folding Room Dividers used for?
Folding Room Dividers are often required for a number of different environments where temporarily partitioning off an area effectively and efficiently is necessary. With a useful concertina design the Folding Room Dividers can be quickly installed and packed away just as easily when needed.

How are Portable Room Dividers assembled?
The Room Dividers are delivered to you ready built, as soon as they are removed from the packaging they are ready to be used. The castor wheels on both options are pre-fitted by us. With the Mobi Screen you have the option to add the stabilising feet (recommend is using in a straight line) which simply clip onto the frame at either end of the screen. If purchasing multiple Flexi-Screens that need to be linked together to cover a wider length, you'll only need to insert the rubber linking strip into the channel of the 2 screens. Simply wheel your screen into place and open it out by gently pulling on the end panel until the screen is open to your desired coverage.When packing away remeber to remove any additional feet and linking strips and fold the screens closed following the concertina pattern.
Please be aware that the room dividers should never be pulled or dragged around or into place by the front panel. When moving the screen to different areas you will need to fold the screen shut, move to the location, and then proceed to open the screen out. Pulling the screen by one panel can be pressure on the hinges and cause them to break.
The panels also only fold in a concertina zig zag pattern. Trying to fold the panels in any other way will also put pressure on the hinges and cause them to break.

What are the different types of Room Dividers?
Mobi Loop Nylon Room Dividers
The Mobi Screens upholstered in a choice of loop nylon fabric on both sides of the panels allow you to easily attach and display using hook and loop fastenings. Three heights are available; 1200, 1500 and 1800mm in a wide range of widths from 2 – 9 panels. Pre-fitted with castor wheels, the screens are immediately ready for use, with clip on stability feet provided for optional additional stability.

Loop Nylon Flexi-Screens
The Loop Nylon Flexi-Screens provide a concertina room divider solution that’s both heavy duty and easy to use. Supplied with factory fitted castor feet for instant use, with lockable wheels as standard to keep the panels in place once situated yet easy to fold up and pack away when needed. Each 1m wide panel is upholstered both sides in a Velcro-friendly loop nylon fabric for ample display area.

Flexi-Screen Room Dividers
The Flexi-Screen room dividers are also available in a woven fabric finish, ideal for a temporary and stylish partitioning in any environment. Each end panel of the screen is supplied with a linking channel which makes connecting additional screens and increasing the width of coverage quick and simple. The solid inner core of the screen creates a robust, sturdy screen while still maintaining an easy to use concertina solution.

Mobi Easy Clean Room Dividers
A popular choice amongst healthcare organisations, the Mobi Easy Clean room dividers are manufactured with a high pressure laminate in a white gloss finish on both sides. The wipeable surface means cleaning and maintenance are effortless, while the lightweight construction makes for swift installation and removal of the screen, folding closed for storage and transport. Each panel is 687mm wide as standard, available in 2-9 panel widths.

Flexi-Screen Laminate Dividers
Manufactured with Formica high pressure white gloss laminate, this finish gives the Flexi-Screen laminate dividers a wipe clean surface that can also be used as a dry-wipe board. The flexible concertina design means the screen can be installed with ease. Each panel is finished with a durable grey PVC edging, with linking channels on the left and right end panels. Upgrades are available for the lockable castors to be exchanged for rubber wheels, ideal for use on a hard floor surface such as laminate, tile etc.

Mobi Printed Room Divider
To add a personal touch to the Mobi Screen we also offer a custom printed finish, your design is applied directly to the board and fitted into the same lightweight frame. The folding screen operates in the same way as the fabric and laminate options, ready to use upon arrival with the castor wheels pre-fitted and closing tight for packing and storage. Double sided as standard, your design is applied to both sides of the screen to provide maximum branding coverage. A popular solution for learning and training in educational spaces.

Printed Concertina Flexi-Screen
The Printed Concertina Flexi-Screen offers exactly that, a custom printed concertina screen. With your design printed on both sides of the board, laminated for protection and longevity, creating a double sided branded room divider that’s robust and built to last. Heavy duty construction including lockable castor wheels, metal hinges, PVC edging and solid MDF core, the Flexi-Screen provides a strong, stable room divider.

How are Folding Room Dividers made?
When manufacturing our range of Room Dividers here at Go Displays we’ve provided a range of screens to fit into every budget and requirement.
Within the range we use both an aluminium and PVC edging, both of which offer longevity. The Mobi screen with a lightweight core is finished with the aluminium frame to create a solid structure, whereas the heavy-duty Flexi-Screen panels are completed with the PVC edging for a smooth but strong finish.
The internal construction varies throughout the range to create a solution for everyone, the Mobi screen uses a thinner core for a lightweight screen, whereas the Flexi-Screen is manufactured with a MDF solid board for a heavier final product. Both options of screening are then topped with your chosen finish (gloss laminate, printed surface, fabric upholstery).
To create a concertina, folding solution each screen is completed with hinges (plastic or metal depending on the product chosen), which allows the boards to be closed and opened in a zig zag concertina pattern. Regardless of the range these hinges are pre-fitted by us here, your panels will arrive connected and ready for use. The castor wheels on all options in the room divider range are also factory fitted and tested.
When the printed finish is selected on any of the Room Dividers, we print these using our flatbed printer, laminate the finished panels, apply the required frame and hinges in the same way and assemble the full display for final check.
